Hello and welcome to the introduction typeface from our new foundry, DRUCKWERK TYPEHAUS!!
This foundry is a new expansion to our already established Desktop Publishing business (D & E Enterprises). We are happy to introduce this new branch of our company, and we hope that the future typefaces produced by DRUCKWERK are enjoyable and useful to all of the computer users that will download our fonts, but enough of the weepy stuff.
The typeface you have just downloaded is called "MANIC". I was inspired to design it due to the feelings described to me by depressed people that I have known. I just thought that the font truly describes the low down feelings of these depressed individuals. THIS FONT IS NOT COMPLETE IN IT'S DOWNLOADED STATE. IT ONLY INCLUDES THE CAPITALS,NUMBERS, AN @ SIGN AND A PERIOD. TO GET THE FULL VERSION YOU MUST REGISTER YOUR FONT.
If you are planning to distribute our fonts all documentation must be included with the product.
Our shareware fees are simple. We would like $7 to register this font, and $5 if you send us either your business card or your name and address for our mailing list.
The best way to insure that you receive good, clean fonts is too be sure to register all products with our foundry. When registration takes place we will send you an original disk with the complete font(s). You will also be added to our mailing list and receive first news of upcoming fonts. We realize that there is no real way to know whether you have registered your font or not. We just ask that the all downloaders be truthful and ask themselves how much money or pleasure will they recieve (privately or commercially) in return for their $7/$5 registration fee.
When downloading our fonts there are just a few areas that we must disclaim inorder to protect ourselves as a company. The following items will outline our company disclaimers in a quick, and hopefully painless, explanation.
1) Our fonts are provided as is. This means that we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose or computer system.
2) We have virus checked our fonts before they leave the foundry and at the time of their departure were found to be virus free and safe for use. If these fonts have contracted a virus between now and the time they reach you we accept no resposibility for that situation.
3) People intending to distribute this font, whether by itself or as part of a software package, please notify us first.
